At Layerhood, every piece we create is built on freedom, individuality, and sustainability. We want you to love your gear as much as we loved designing it. But if something doesn’t feel right, our return and exchange process is here to keep things simple and stress-free.

Return Policy Overview

  • Time Frame: You have 7 days from receiving your order to request a return.

  • Eligibility: Items must be:

    • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered

    • With all original garment tags attached

    • Packed in original packaging

    • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Please try on carefully (especially sneakers — only on clean surfaces). Items showing wear, stains, or scents won’t be eligible.

Sizing Policy

Our fits are vintage-inspired and intentionally loose, but every product comes with exact measurements.

  • Your Responsibility: Please check sizing before ordering. If you pick the wrong size, return/exchange costs are on you.

  • Our Responsibility: If we send you the wrong size, we’ll cover the return or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

We can’t take back:

  • Final sale items (marked on product page)

  • Swimwear & intimates (hygiene reasons)

  • Items with wear, stains, or strong scents

Exchanges

  • Each item can be exchanged once (except final sale).

  • If the new item costs more, you pay the difference.

  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

  • For faster swaps: return your piece for a refund, then place a new order.

How to Return

Step 1 – Contact Us
Email layersfit9@gmail.com with your order number, proof of purchase, reason for return, and photos if relevant.

Step 2 – Get Instructions
We’ll reply within 24 hours with return details and shipping info.

Step 3 – Send It Back

  • Include your order number inside or outside the package

  • Ship promptly to avoid label expiration

  • Unauthorized returns won’t be accepted

Shipping & Responsibility

We Cover Costs (Free Returns/Exchanges):

  • Wrong item sent

  • Quality issues, strong odor, or major color discrepancies

  • Missing items

  • Delivery failures not caused by incorrect addresses or customer refusal

You Cover Costs:

  • Wrong size ordered

  • Change of mind

  • Return shipping/customs duties (when applicable)

 Orders refused at delivery are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Order Cancellation

You can cancel within 1–3 days of placing an order, unless it’s already shipped. Once shipped, cancellation isn’t possible — but you can request a return after delivery.

Refunds

  • Returns are inspected within 5 business days.

  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

  • Banks may take up to 10 additional business days to process.

  • Deductions:

    • Orders with free shipping: ~10% of item value deducted for shipping costs

    • Orders with paid shipping: refund covers item(s) only; shipping cost is non-refundable

    • Customer-arranged return: $30 USD fee per item deducted

Damages & Issues

Check your order as soon as it lands. If something’s off — defective, damaged, or not what you ordered — let us know immediately so we can fix it fast.
